Hoag, Assistant Superintendent DATE OF POSTING: July 14, 2010 POSITION: Preschool Teacher SALARY RANGE: Salary Range of $32,075 - $70,655 annually depending on experience and education (BA/MA level); additional opportunities for performance pay and tuition reimbursement. Salary Range of $22,864-31,883 annually for associate degree level teachers. Send materials to QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION: · B. A. in Early Childhood Education/Child Development preferred – will consider applicants with at least a Child Care Professional Credential (CCP), Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development (if teacher holds less than a four year degree, he/she must be making progress toward the BA degree; training plan and timeline will be developed). · ECERS-R and Qualistar experience preferred. · Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) preferred. · At least three years of full-time teaching experience with young children preferred. · Hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teachers' Certificate/License from Colorado Department of Education or other credentials as listed above. · Knowledge of ECE standards and assessment preferred. · Strong background and successful experience in early childhood education, multicultural education, second language acquisition and literacy preferred. · Able to develop parent partnerships. · Computer and Technology skills preferred. · Able to work as a team member and facilitate preschool students’ transition to kindergarten, as well as curriculum alignment with kindergarten staff.
